Data Visualization for the Accidental Researcher

Description: Creating charts and other visual representations of data is something that nearly everyone has to do at some point – yet few are given guidance on how to do this effectively. Here you’ll learn how to use every day tools like Excel to create visually appealing, informative, and impactful data visualizations. We’ll discuss why data visualization is so important, the different stages of designing a chart or other data viz, and practical tips like which chart style to use for different data types.

Cost: $25 (register once and you will have access to all three trainings in the May “Data Centric” Training Series & receive recordings). Organizations will be billed following the training series.
