We all know COVID-19 has caused difficulty for almost everyone, but it is even more devastating for the Iowans who are experiencing poverty, many for the first time due to job loss or reduction in work hours.
Because of this, Iowa Community Action Partnership (ICAP) is raising funds to assist Iowans across all 99 counties access necessities. 100% of your donation would go directly to assist Iowans with a low income to pay for rent/mortgage payments, utilities, personnel hygiene, deep cleaning supplies, medical expenses, car repairs, and more.
Alliant Energy Foundation and Iowa Credit Union Foundation have helped start the Iowa Community Action Partnership Giving Tuesday Now campaign with generous donations of $50,000 and $25,000, respectively. Our goal is to match this initial amount through individual donations by May 26, 2020.
