Emerging Leaders Institute for Training and Excellence (ELITE)

Applications due Oct. 18!

Iowa Community Action Association is taking applications for this year’s ELITE program (ELITE 101)! This is a great opportunity for Community Action staff looking to grow their leadership skills.¬†This is an 8-9 month commitment beginning late fall. Participants will meet monthly using ICAA’s online Zoom account (video-conferencing) with 1-2 in-person gatherings. Learn more about Community Action operations with other staff across the state!

Certified Community Action Professional (CCAP)

ICAA Study Group starting soon!

2018 marks the 25th Anniversary of the CCAP program! ICAA would love for the Iowa Community Action network to have at least 25 new CCAPs to celebrate this milestone. Anyone interested in pursuing the CCAP this year click here to provide ICAA with contact information by September 27th and indicate your interest in the ICAA Study Group.

The Study Group is highly encouraged (optional) activity that is available with a participation fee to help mentor and facilitate your learning and preparations through the CCAP process. The Study Group will meet in-person and online October through May.
